Open cluster in Andromeda, NGC752 (Caldwell 28)

On the 24th October 2008 using a Celestron NextStar 102 SLT with a Fujifilm S2 digital SLR camera, I took this 2 x 1 minute exposure (at ISO 200) of the open star cluster NGC752 in Andromeda.

NGC752 observed on the 24th October 2008

This cluster's large and loose appearance is associated with its age. This cluster has had about 2 billion years to be gravitationally jostled by other stars in the Galaxy to lose its compact appearance.
